We practiced for 2 weeks for the prayer service on Friday. Mrs. King wanted the children to be completely prepared & not be nervous. This is their first time in front of the whole school leading the monthly prayer service. Anna had a really nice sentence - "There are many ways you can show love to your friends & family." She spoke very slowly, clearly & loudly. I was so proud of her. She was ready to go about a week ago, and I think the waiting was making her more nervous.
All the kids are reading really well now. We have to practice reading one book each week. Then, they bring in the book to read to their teachers.
